We know choosing a care home is one of the biggest decisions a family can make. Here are the answers to the questions we hear most often. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to call us — we’re always happy to talk.
We run three care homes, all based in and around Fulwood, Preston — The Brooklands, Fairmont, and Oxford House. Each home has its own character and team, but all three share the same values: warm, personal, family-centred care.
We provide residential personal care for older adults, including both long-term placements and short-stay respite care. Our focus is on person-centred support — care that is built around the individual, not a fixed routine.
Our homes are intentionally small. The Brooklands, for example, has capacity for 24 residents. We believe smaller homes allow us to provide the kind of personal, unhurried care that larger providers often cannot — where every resident is known by name and every preference is remembered.
Yes. All three of our homes are registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England. All our homes are currently rated Good by the CQC. You can view our reports directly on the CQC website.
